Vitalady's Drinks of choice
Any of these are what I use:
1.) My #1 favorite has been changed by the manufacturer at the beginning of 2009. I only mention it here because so many people know which is WAS.
2.) Champion Pure Whey Stack Chocolate + 6-8 oz water, shaken.
3.) IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon + "glop" of DaVinci sugar free caramel sauce + 8 oz water + ice, blended.
4.) Pure Whey Stack Chocolate + IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon (50/50) in about 10 oz hot water, stirred or hand blender (see below).
They deliver about 30g protein, less than 3g sugar, less than 200 calories, when made with water.
Lately I've been adding a shake of ground cinnamon to my hot ones since cinnamon fights belly fat.
I also put 1 scoop of Bariatric Advantage Calcium Crystals (unflavored) in my drink as well.
Vitaguy's Drinks of choice
I use these:
1.) Champion Pure Whey Stack chocolate + 6-8 oz water, shaken. For variety, I add various sugar free syrups, such as cherry or coconut or raspberry.
2.) IDS vanilla Crème + 6-8 oz water, shaken straight up OR blended with blueberries or strawberries or a portion of banana. I use either a Magic Bullet or hand blender.
3.) ProBlend 55 Alpine Vanilla or ISO Pure Zero Carb Creamy Vanilla as a "milk" substitute with morning cereal (Grape Nuts or Shredded Wheat)
4.) I also like Michelle's warm Chocolate and Vanilla Cinnamon combo (see below).
I also add a scoop of Bariatric Advantage Calcium Crystals (unflavored) in some of my shakes.
"Michelle's Special Combo": 1/2 Stack & 1/2 IDS (especially during the winter and to start
her day):
Combine equal parts of Champion Pure Whey Stack Chocolate and IDS Vanilla /
Cinnamon.Mixing these two together makes a smooth, lighter chocolate "cocoa" or
"mocha". I mix only one per day in coffee, but espresso is TOO HOT!
We are combining TWO separate proteins from two manufacturers.
Order this special combo sample and it will be as I make my own.
For myself, I buy 5# of each and blend them in advance. I keep glass
canisters
(around $6 at Wal*Mart) in my kitchen and refill from the 5# containers I
keep elsewhere.
WARNINGS:
1. do not microwave powder
2. do not boil water OR powder
3. do not SHAKE hot water (lid blows)
4. do not BULLET (seal leaks)
5. heat water to appx 160 degrees OR use "coffee pot hot"
6. mix water and powder with a fork OR a hand blender in deep cup or bowl
7. Using a Moo Mixer, put water in first, sprinkle powder in while swirling
8. Enjoy this FIRST one of the day in coffee (not espresso! too hot!)
IDS vanilla-cinnamon: I put it in a blender
with some ice cubes and
added some nutmeg and it was awesome, however, it
does get foamy which could cause a full feeling, but
once the foam goes down it's absolutely yummy. Also
for another kick, add some Jamaican Rum syrup for
more of a 'treat'.

What To Do With Syrups: Syrups
are great for adding to your protein shakes, coffee,
tea, soda and all your cooking and baking. See the
recipes below for some ideas using different flavors.
"Creamsicle"
or "Root Beer Float": Just add about
half a can diet pop to one scoop of your favorite
vanilla. Beat with hand blender till smooth. (Add
ice if desired.) If you get along with carbonation,
add some more pop to bubble it up. If youre
on the road, either shake it a lot, or shake the PB55
with a little water, then add diet pop. Let me know
your great ideas!
Snickerdoodle:
Add 1T each of hazelnut, cinnamon, and cookie dough
syrup to your favorite vanilla shake.
Chai
Latte: Add 1-2T of Spiced Chai syrup to your favorite
vanilla shake.
Chocolate
egg cream: chocolate protein powder and diet
cream soda. Blend with ice and it almost tastes like
the real thing. ~lisa

Legal
Pudding? Yes, it is possible with Better Than
Milk (BTM) and an eight-ounce tub of non-dairy whipped
topping, any brand. Mix one package of sugar-free
instant pudding into approximately one cup cold BTM,
stirring until blended. Use half a tub nondairy whipped
topping, folding in gently. Put them in pretty cups
and refrigerate about 15 minutes. You can use either
plain or vanilla BTM and next time adjust the BTM
down a bit and the nondairy topping up for a different
consistency.
